Soccer or Baseball *: ) ?

     Which do you like better, soccer or baseball?  Have you ever seen the game of soccer or baseball at the stadium?  Do you have a favorite player?  I think the opinions split into two types over these questions, because Hiroshima has both teams which are CARP and SANFRECCE!!  I think it is difficult for choosing which is better, so I will assess which is superior sport when you go to the game at stadium in Hiroshima!!

     Do you know where the stadium is?  When we compare the MAZDA zoom-zoom stadium and Hiroshima BIG ARCH, MAZDA zoom-zoom stadium is easy to get to, because it was built near the Hiroshima station.  We can go many ways to go to the Hiroshima station.  On the other hand, Hiroshima BIG ARCH is little bit far, so we have to go by the car or Astram line.

     If you watch a game at the stadium, many people worry about the time.  Sometime the game is rained out, or has extra innings.  First, we think about when the game is rained out.  When it is rainy day, a baseball game isn’t played, but soccer game is played as usual.  Next, we compare the time of game.  Soccer has the first half of the game and the second half of the game.  It takes 45 minutes of each, so it scarcely has extra time. 

     When you go to the stadium, have you ever seen the cheering party?  You can hear a cheer in laud voice.  SANFRECCE has three cheering groups which are URSUS, BAD BOYS, and INFS.  There are many members of each, and they love SANFRECCE very much.  URSUS’s members are very kind, because they accept new person at any time.  That is why we can make a good friendship easily. 

     So, which is better, soccer or baseball?  I love SANFRECCE very much!!  I think you have a good time choose whichever you like better.  If you go to the soccer game at Hiroshima BIG ARCH, please invite me and cheer the team with me!!

British Foods Top 5 *:)

Have you ever eaten British foods?  Some people think British foods are not delicious, but it is not true!!  When I stayed in England for four months, I ate many kinds of foods, so I will introduce my favorite British foods Top 5!!

1, Fish and Chips

This is very famous British food.  I think you know just name.  It is cheap and you can eat outside easily.  Some people sprinkle salt and the others put ketchup on the fish.  Both of them are very good, so you can choose.  Sometimes they are too oily, so you should choose the shop very carefully!!

2, Cottage pie

It is the traditional home cooking.  It’s like a gratin, but little bit different.  I ate this food many times, and I love it!!  My host family used beef, but some family used lamb.  Maybe we can cook very easily, so if you want to eat the cottage pie let’s cook it!!

3, Roast beef

I think British people eat the meat on Sunday, so I ate the Roast beef on Sunday night.  My host family said this “Sunday meal.”  Do you know gravy?  I had not known it when I stayed in UK.  British people often pour gravy on the meal.  I can’t explain of taste, because I have not eaten the same taste in Japan.

4, Apple Crumble

I love Apple Crumble!!  I want you to eat this sweet once!!  It’s like an apple pie or tart, but little bit different.  I recommend vanilla ice cream or custard cream on it.  However you will eat a lot, you will put on weight, so you should be careful.

5, Christmas pudding

I think it divide in your evaluation of it.  If you like a raisin, you could eat this.  My host mother said, “There are many people who can’t eat this pudding in UK.”  When I ate the Christmas pudding at home, my host father poured the brandy and sat fire to the pudding.  It is a traditional way of eating. 

How many British foods did you eat?  There are a lot of delicious foods in UK, so you should try to eat!!  To be frank, I was one of people who thought British foods are not good.  However, I was fascinated by the British foods!!  If you want to eat, please cook it.

     There are many cafés in Hiroshima.  Which café do you like the best?  Almost all the people go to café to relaxing or talking with their friends.  I often go to café with my friends or my mother, and talking many things. Sometimes I go alone, and doing my report or think about something.  It’s good time for me!  I will introduce my favorite café where is STARBUCKS in front of PARCO.

     It has 99 seats and three floors, so many people can enter the shop.  The scent of coffee is in the air.  At second floor, we can see outside while drinking or eating.  However, after lunch time, many junior and senior high school students come to there, and they are chatting.  It is very noisy, but third floor is little bit quiet.  So I like a third floor better.  If you want to drink at quiet place, I recommend go to the third floor.

     STARBUCKS has many kinds of drinks and foods.  First of all I will introduce my favorite sweet!!  It is SAKURA chiffon cake which is sold in only springs. It’s very delicious but little bit expensive.  You can eat this only spring, so please try it as soon as possible!!  Second, I will introduce my favorite drink.  It is a green tea frappuccino which is not too sweet.  How many people know about the secret menu?  If you want to try unusual drinks, please look this page. 

     How many people use a STARBUCKS’ tumbler?  There are many kinds of design, and every district has a different design. It is very useful, because it helps to ecology.  However, they are expensive, so I don’t want to buy this. 

     STARBUCKS makes me happy, because there are many sweets, drinks and good atmosphere.  I like talking with my friends, so I often use this café.  We can stay a long time, so it is very good place for girls.  Please go to there and you have a nice time with your friends or lover and so on.

MUSIC : )

      One of my hobbies is listening to music.  I like Japanese pop music, but I like Western music better.  When I come to school and go back home, I listen to music on my iPod every day.  Sometimes I can’t understand what she sang, so it is helpful as listening English practice.  Because when I can’t understand the words, I often watch YouTube on the Internet.  I’ll introduce 3 singers who are very famous all over the world.

     First of all, I’ll introduce about P!NK.  Her first recording album “Can’t take me home” in 2000.  Her songs have been used on the two movies such as Moulin Rouge and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.  Recently, her songs were used on Japanese drama.  Her famous song is “stupid girl,”

     Second, I’ll introduce about Miley Cyrus who is known as a Hannah Montana.  She is a singer-songwriter and an actress.  Her song “Party In The U.S.A” got a Kids' Choice Awards 2009.  Her second album "Can’t Be Tamed" is now on sale.

      Finally, Avril Lavigne is very famous all over the world.  She is a singer-songwriter.  Her first album “Let go” were sold 1700milon.  Her songs “Complicated” “Sk8er Boi” “I’m With You” “My Happy Ending” “Girlfriend” and so on, have been ranked in the Top 10.  She got many awards, and she was chosen “Favorite Female Singer.” Her masterpiece “Girlfriend” got first place in Billboard Hot 100.  Please listen their songs.

     I often use these websites to listening to music and watching their information.  If you don’t have their CD, you can listen to their songs on YouTube, so it is very useful.  Please check their songs!!  I think you will like it.
